Round 9 – Newbridge v Pyramid Hill

U/18 It was a busy week for the coach with 10 unavailability’s through injury and holidays (fancy going to Bali in the middle of footy season.) We did however scrounge together some permit players and field a full side. A big thank you to Jack Kervin, Noah Furlong, Kai Lane and Apostoli Sakizilis who helpedContinue reading “Round 9 – Newbridge v Pyramid Hill”

Round 8 – Pyramid Hill v Calivil

U/18’s Our boys bounced back well this week with a 123 point win over Calivil. The oppositions pressure around the contest was fierce, but we stayed composed, finding our way out of packs by hand and moving the ball well. We put 3 goals on the board in the first quarter, followed by 4 inContinue reading “Round 8 – Pyramid Hill v Calivil”

Round 7 – Pyramid Hill v Maiden Gully YCW

U/18 The Under 18’s suffered their first loss of the season after falling 22 points short against Maiden Gully YCW. Round 6 – BL-Serpentine v Pyramid Hill

U/18 We knew the boys were on and ready to battle when the skipper arrived to the ground with matching shorts and sneakers – there were some thoughts from the general public that he forgot to get out of his pyjamas but maybe, just maybe, we may have a new fashion trend beginning. Anyway, theContinue reading “Round 6 – BL-Serpentine v Pyramid Hill”

U/18 The boys continued their strong start toContinue reading “Round 5 – Pyramid Hill v Inglewood”

Round 4 – Marong v Pyramid Hill

18 & UNDER After a couple of weeks off we followed up our Round 1 victory with a 61 point win over Marong. Our skill level was slightly sloppy but our pressure was outstanding. Zac Dingwall was a defensive force, rebounding the ball off half back successfully all day. Connor Mayman proved how valuable heContinue reading “Round 4 – Marong v Pyramid Hill”

Round 2 – Mitiamo v Pyramid Hill

In near perfect conditions we travelled just down the road to take on the might of MItiamo, a team that had been talked up and considered a benchmark of the competition this year.  Great teamwork, consistent performances and a real want for the ball saw both our Reserves and Seniors come home with theContinue reading “Round 2 – Mitiamo v Pyramid Hill”

Round 1 – Pyramid Hill v Bridgewater

Under 18’s The thirds started off the season with a 101 point victory over Bridgewater. The boys played well together, led by new recruit Ryan Salvador, Zac Dingwall, and Matthew Farrell. With 11 debutants we gelled together well and the whole team did what they could to implement the structures with very minimal pre-season training.Continue reading “Round 1 – Pyramid Hill v Bridgewater”
