History

The Pyramid Hill Football Netball Club has been affiliated with the Loddon Valley Football Netball League since 1995. In that time we have developed into a league powerhouse with consistently high performances across a range of divisions across the club. This has culminated in the winning of multiple premierships in the Reserves and Under 18 football grades and the A Grade and 17 and 15 and Under netball grades.

The completion of major renovations to the clubrooms have provided a modern and comfortable facility. The upstairs viewing area is second to none and offers a fantastic view to watch the Bulldogs play.

We proudly field Senior, Reserve and Under 18 football teams and four Senior and three Junior netball teams. As a proud family club we also facilitate Auskick and Net Set Go to ensure a strong junior development program.

PHFNC has regularly finished in the higher rankings of the LVFNL ‘Champion Club’ award where results of all levels of sporting performance are considered. We are an integral part of community life throughout the year and are a Sports Focus ‘Good Sports’ club where strong values are promoted. A strong junior coaching program in both football and netball give a true atmosphere of a ‘family club’.

In 2017 our 15 and under netball were Runners Up in the Grand Final and our A Grade netball and Under 18’s football took out the Premiership. With these results it’s fair to say the future of our club is looking very bright.

Over the years the Senior Football team has been an exciting benchmark for enjoyable football games, finishing in the top 5 for 16 out of the past 22 seasons since joining the LVFNL. We have finished agonisingly close to success on ‘Grand Final Saturday’ on several occasions.

This year we have re-appointed Senior Football Co-Coaches Brad Fawcett and Gavin James, and Zoe Kennedy and Deb Forster will take on the Senior Coaching role of the netball teams. These coaches are ex-locals who are passionate and determined to bring ultimate success to the PHFNC.

Inspired by the 2018 Premiership of the Under 18’s and the A Grade netball the scene has been set for a season where we can expect a real shot at winning multiple Premierships.
